It's not an extended (platinum) model. Good ol' beige. Nice system but the shipping is high.

I thought you were going to say that you have one...

No, and I don't feel a pressing need to collect any more new machines at this time. I'm content.

Hey,
I'm the consignor of this auction. Just thought you would like to know that I posted more images of the factory seals.
BTW shipping is high because of all the boxes & the stuff is heavy. Plus whenever I consign something heavy it always goes to California (other side of the country) :)
Enjoy!

Good Luck! It looks to be a nice collection.

Hey thanks Wholly Mindless,
It's a beauty, and if I could afford to keep it I would.
I have a thing for vintage technology and this kind of thing does not come around often. The last great find I got was a complete Heathkit Hero Jr with extra programs.
Another one I wish I could have kept.
Oh well, maybe I'll be rich enough some day to be able to keep some of my finds :)

Where did you get this?

Hi steve@mac I got it at an estate sale here in Ma.
I should have bought the vintage 1970's Panasonic stereo system they had too. It was also factory sealed.

Hey folks,
Just thought you would like to know that I will do a partial refund on any extra money paid for shipping after packaging materials, and postage. So shipping may not be the full $200.00.

It is not selling well. Not like the IIc that sold for 3 times the price you're asking.

I'm in Canada, so for me the shipping price will kill any deal I can get :(

Hey Steve,
I'm not too worried about it. I wanted to keep it anyway :)
Yeah, I had to turn down a buy it now @ the $650.00 because the potential buyer was in Europe. He was even willing to pay the shipping, but I am sure that once he found out how much it would have cost to ship to Europe he wouldn't have been very happy.
Everything is so expensive in the States because of the economy.
Oh well it still has a day left.
