RetroMacCast

Where great old Macs live again!

Floppy disks got you down?  Here is a great solution, I'm ordering mine soon (So many retro toys and books it is going to be a great Christmas)

from the web site:

"Love old Macintosh computers? Floppy Emu is a prototype floppy disk drive emulator for vintage Macs. It uses an SD memory card and custom hardware to mimic a 400K, 800K, or 1.4MB 3.5 inch disk drive and floppy disk. It plugs into the Mac’s external or internal floppy connector, and behaves exactly like a real disk drive, requiring no special software on the Mac."

As if this project wasn't cool enough on its own, the guy behind it is the guy who wrote Tetris Max. RMC interview? :)

"It's like having a box of eDisks, connected right to your machine!"

You can even connect this thing internally if your mac is newer and doesn't have an external floppy port.
