PowerBook G3 Pismo Fan

Hello everyone,

                         I was wondering if anyone has the same problem as me. I have a PowerBook G3 Pismo from around 2000, and I have noticed that the fan by the heat sync never powers on. It overheats if you are doing video and graphic intensive tasks. Anyone else have this problem?
