A few months back I bought an eMac for my mom to use.  We still haven't gotten it on the internet for her, but she's eager to learn how to use it!!  I just need to find time we are both off work, and not too tired to show her a few things on it.  I've already put several of her favorite CD's in iTunes for her!!

Bought one 2 Years ago because I had to get me one of the white iMacs…

And then I found another on the curb!

Speaking of witch… they did not delete any of their data! So now I have a bunch of music and apps… like Otto Matic!

Sounds cool guys! I wish that the eMac I got for my mom had USB 2.0, but I think it's only 1.1. I put some music on it for my mom, put haven't done a whole lot because their was an Admin account already on it, and I haven't been able to figure out how to make a new account, and I'm not sure what the password is for the current one.

Anyone in the South Dakota area have an eMac they want to sell? I miss my old one that I accidentally killed.

I got 12 eMacs for my students.  Each one had one on their desk.  It was my primary delivery for content.  Got 6 on Cragslist for $300 from a school; 2 off eBay for $45 and the rest for around $35.  All work fine, running Tiger so I named them different tigers:  Bengal, Caspian, Sumatran, South China, White, Javan, Bali, Indochinese, Malayan, Siberian...etc.  The kids really caught on quickly.  I used Classroom Suite 4 for almost all activities and passed out "papers" using Adobe Acrobat Pro forms.  I never had motivational or behavioral problems and they worked for long periods and were usually quiet!

The next school year admin forbid me to ever use computer in class again.
