Advice and help on coercing yourself or significant other into utilizing the touch interface found here.

Welcome to the group! Why have a group like this with a bunch of people who are fans of antique machines? Because the antique machines we know and love were part of a revolution started by Apple, a computer for the rest of us. These devices are a part of another revolution, our life in our pocket!

While we do like to gaze upon yesteryear, we also should take note what is going on in the present and into the future. Besides, it won't take too long for the original devices to become yesterday's news.

Me and my son has uploaded 3 free applications in App Store. Simple Paint, Kids Paint and Doodle Kids. Two of them are previously Apple IIGS applications we wrote. Have fun!

Those are the only places I know offering refurbs -- your only other bet might be used off eBay but of course your risk is higher.

For my wish list I would really like to see a real keyboard and something akin to TextEdit and a simple spreadsheet app. Missing that functionality from my old Palm TX.

Oh and Cut and Paste of course.

This is a good port of the Apple II game Lemonade Stand for iPhone. I just bought a copy!

Simple Paint has been featured in Apple web site: http://www.apple.com/webapps - and Kids Paint has won a Staff Pick too.
