I was just given a Performa 636CD. It's my new Rosetta Stone - I added a NIC, and now it talks EtherTalk to my OSX 10.3 boxen, and can still read/run early MacOS stuff.

I remember using the Performa 5200 in school back in the early 90's. The school took way too long to replace them and when they finally did, with windows boxes, we all celebrated, and now I feel stupid for not realizing what a step down it was. They still are very nice looking machines, especially compared to the beige boxes that they were replaced with.
