I've got an old Duo 230 that I salvaged from being sent to the trash bin. Unfortunately, it's sitting unused now since I don't have much time to play with it, but it's still a wonderful addition to my collection. I just need to find the time to give it some TLC.

I have a PowerBook 140 that I picked up for $20. It works great but I need some help getting a good OS load.

I have a PowerBook 180 I purchased used on eBay back in 1999 or 2000. It has a modem card and mostly I used it for writing.

Recently I got it out and started playing around with BBSs, and I installed MicroPhone II on it so I can call up some BBSs via phone.

Four 1400 versions; 1400c, 1400cs, 1400cs/133 and 1400c/166.
I'd like to have older and newer around them...

Bad news to all the memers here (Hi, members!) Last night this world lost one PB 1400/133. I was in desperate need for some parts to distribute to the other four. So I purchased this /133 just to slaughter it. The "c" needed a display in the first place, it's brilliant now. No RAMs, but a monitorcard was in that - luckily I got a cable for an external just this weekend, I'm curiously expecting its arrival.
No big battery at all, so the internal cannot be saved - the case is nice and the original black lid is unscratched. No CD. But what do you expect for far less than ~U$ 20 ?

Lars, Sorry to hear about the "cannibalism" of the PB.

Reminds me of my brother who kept an old Triumph 60s TR4 "carcass" around so he could replace parts on his TR4 that was running.

Sometimes you have do what you have to do.

And now there's the wrong sign on the monitor's mask...
Worst thing is a rotten speaker in the cs/133. Even with the help i received this is going to be a job for hours and hours!
Speaking of cars I know that, too. From '84-'91 I had five of one model to drive three of them...
And my books have about half a GHz, doesn't that sound good, Claes ?

Half a GHz sounds great Lars! :)
There's 133 mhz of raw ppc power in my PB1400c btw.
