Apple II Community Resources

Expect me to update these links soon...

Kansas Fest 2013! The KFest committee has announced NOTHING for KFest 2013 - yet!  We have every expectation that KFest 2013 dates will be announced in the "near" future. ("Near" being relative to a user of a 30+ year old machine)  Given the incredible success of the last few events and the great speakers and vocal community members, it's got to happen.  They even let a (gasp) Commodore lover speak last year.

Apple VHS Archive: Patents at Apple

The excellent Apple VHS Archive YouTube channel continues to unearth analog video gold. The latest update is a nine and a half minute company internal video featuring, among others, a beardless(!) Woz – by then an “Apple Fellow” – talking up the benefits and general warm fuzzies of hardware and software patents. Watching Apple patent […]

Anyone else get their copy of JuicedGS this week? (Be quiet Ken. ;) )

This is really incredible, some hardcore Computer Archaeologists have reverse engineered several versions of ye olde Microsoft 6502 Basic (Applesoft, Commodore Basic etc) using cc65. They put together a new source code package that can rebuild these Basic images verbatim. Wow.

They are discovered some very interesting findings lurking deep inside this code...
