Expect me to update these links soon...

Kansas Fest 2013! The KFest committee has announced NOTHING for KFest 2013 - yet!  We have every expectation that KFest 2013 dates will be announced in the "near" future. ("Near" being relative to a user of a 30+ year old machine)  Given the incredible success of the last few events and the great speakers and vocal community members, it's got to happen.  They even let a (gasp) Commodore lover speak last year.

Any Franklin Ace owners out there?

I picked one up - a 1200 over the weeked from a friend who is selling his house to live on his boat and travel the world. It came with the original boxes and the original monitor, but no software. I had some fun playing around with the built in BASIC in ROM, but would be nice to use the floppy drives too. :-)

Sunder, Most Apple 2 software will work on your 1200. The first thing you need to get running is ADTPro, it can even jumpstart your machine and get a dos disk working for you. (of course much of the post '88 software all required 64k or more so you might get caught there. Let us know how it goes!

I have wrote a set of JavaScript library for Applesoft programmer, to allow them to code in Applesoft style for web and iPhone/iPod touch. If you like retro programming on the new platform, try this out:
