Indeed! The TAM still rocks harder than the 3G...S :)

I'd like to have one, too, but it is the incarnation of ugliness, spew!
Doesn't it look like a ticket terminal ?
There even seems to be a "Drop Coin" slit.

I don't think is ugly in the least. I think it's an awesomely beautiful machine, sleek, elegant and stylish. I guess that has to do with individual interpretation of beauty. I remember when these were released, I fell in love with it back then, but the price tag kept it a dream. Ha! not any more. And, it probably is faster than the 3G S. Especially since it's been upgraded to a 500 mhz Sonnet G3.

I love the design of the TAM!  It's so sleek, elegant, and thin!!  Mine unfortunatly has the "buzzing" hum issue.  Might possibly be the PRAM battery, it doesn't keep time very well, but then again it might not be.  I can't remember if it was James or John that thought it was the precursor design to the G5/Intel iMacs, but I share the same thoughts on the matter!  Enjoy that TAM Kathryn!!

I have one that has the TAM Buzz also. It is fixable. It requires taking the base unit apart, and cleaning the contacts on the base. I have the directions for this procedure that I can post online for you. I just need to find them. Ah, found it: Don't know where to upload it. I will contact you by message, so I can email  it to you.
