Looks like your TAM is running great!!  Love to have mine running this god!

That one is not running right now. It's in pieces still. It started to misbehave, and I swapped out parts to put in one that didn't have the buzz, or broken CD door. But, the other had a floppy drive that didn't work. Still a work in progress due to moving a few times. Looking forward to having the time to get them both running again.

Cool! Sounds like you have the "weekend projects" for the next year or so covered! I have an Apple IIe that I bought last year that needs a lot of attention. I'm not really sure it is in operating condition, and I've been hesitant to try to power it up. Maybe one day? I'd love to get a really nice IIc, or IIGs!

The closest I've come to getting my Apple IIe going is turning it on, and watching the magic smoke escape! Yikes!

I think I saw the pictures of that on here! Kinda why I'm hesitant to turn it on. It had been stored in a garage, and is really dirty on the inside of the case.

LOL! I can certainly understand that feeling. But, don't let that keep you from "firing up" the IIe. Sorry about the pun, I couldn't help myself. Just keep a fire extinguisher handy. ;-)

Seriously, that was probably, surely, just a rare occurrence. Hopeful, surely, probably.

Just remember the extinguisher, and keep the door to your closest outside access wide open and no tripping hazards between you and the exit route. But, you surely won't need to use it. Most probably, maybe.

Franklin, should you and your IMF team decide to accept this mission....this power source will self destruct in 10, 9, 8 seconds.

We accept, but only if Peter Graves is sill the good guy, and it's an episode that Leonard Nimoy is in the cast of!!
