Where great old Macs live again!

This is my Mac Plus. What's that scribble on the front you ask? That is James Doohan's signature. For the younger geek crowd that is Scotty from Star Trek. I got his autograph Dragon*Con.

Great collectible John!

I've never seen a Mac Plus run so fast as in that Star Trek Episode - seemly faster than Scotty's fingers could type!

Must have had a some special form of pre-emptive processing Apple was working at, at the time!

Star Trek IV was one of my favorites, it seems that the even numbered feature films were the better ones.

Awesome! A Plus signed by Scotty himself. And, I do have to agree with the above, the even numbered movies were better...especially TOS crew movies. Especially Star Trek II:TWOK.

Yes, I think ST II: TWOK was the best of the feature films with the TOS cast.

John needs a digitized picture of the Scotty scene for the desktop me thinks.

I am so jealous! I love Scotty! I love ST, the original of course. Was a ST fan since I was a kid and use to sneak out of bed and crawl under the end table in the living room to watch. So very cool!

Very awesome John!! Most people like Kirk, or Spock the best, but my favorite Original Series character was always Scotty!! He truly was a miracle worker, but multiplying repair estimates by 3, then getting them done in a third of that time didn't hurt!! Hang on to this John, it's a very special Mac indeed!!
