They are just nice, clicky, responsive compact keyboards. That one could use some retrobrite, though.

I know, I've got several that could use retrobright. But I don't have any faith in my ability to take one of them apart and soak in and put it back together and still have a functioning mac.

A keyboard would be a good place to start, then. The top plastics will unscrew from the bottom (3 screws) and lift off from the rear; the electronics should then come out pretty easily -- again, most likely they are held in by just a couple of screws. Nothing to it.
