Alright, some updates on this...  Turned out the 6.4GB IBM DeathStar hard drive that came with it is dead.  I decided to put in one of my 20GB HDs, and I'm installing Mac OS 9.2 on it now.

Also I found out that this is a 300MHz model G3...

Sounds a little pricey to me, I get my 450MHz one for $8 fully working.

i think 40 bucks is a good fair price for that.  you should oc it to 400mhz, i'm pretty sure the 300's went to 400, pretty sure the 350's do 450,
