Comment by Powerusin MacMac on June 7, 2012 at 3:42pm yeah, they pop out and in. just have to be careful not to bend any pins.
Comment by Derek on June 7, 2012 at 8:51pm Ah, I was wondering how your LC 575 had a full-on 68040. :-) Put a heatsink on that sucker!
Comment by Powerusin MacMac on June 7, 2012 at 8:54pm yes installed a nice heatsink
Comment by Finkmac on June 8, 2012 at 8:18am The question is… How do you fit a heatsink into an LC475?
Comment by Powerusin MacMac on June 8, 2012 at 10:04am the Q605/LC475, the Q605 heat sink was REAL FUN! :) now you got me thinking, i am going to post pictures of that tonight :) instead of going beefy and tall, i used long and thiner, ( no choice )
Comment by Powerusin MacMac on September 24, 2012 at 10:59am update: both of those Full 040 CPU's have been in service for months now, They are both stamped 25mhz, However from the beginning they were both clocked to 33 mhz. Using heat sinks in both applications with both cpu's. No issues(so far), running great!
