Comment by Finkmac on July 2, 2012 at 6:24pm MAME cabinet! What kind of computer powers it?
Comment by Jason McCormack on July 2, 2012 at 7:48pm That's one of my non-Mac's... just a home-built AMD 2 GHz PC running Win2k & MAMEWAH as a front end. When I built it three years ago, I wanted to put one of my PPC Mac's in there, but the selection of Mac MAME front ends was lacking. It does have an Apple Pro Keyboard though, since that was the only one I had that was thin enough to fit on the keyboard drawer.

Comment by Jason McCormack on July 3, 2012 at 6:30pm I hear ya... MAMEWAH, once configured, is pretty nice though. It feels like a game selection menu that you might find on an actual arcade machine, and it plays really nice with arcade controls. Besides, I'd probably feel bad if I locked a Mac in a cabinet never to be seen again. ;)
Comment by John on July 8, 2012 at 5:47pm I'll have to try MAMEWAH, I use glaunch for my system. It will let you configure it for multiple emulators (NES, SEGA etc). Does MAMEWAH have that capability?
Comment by Jason McCormack on July 9, 2012 at 7:06pm Yes, MAMEWAH work as a front end for multiple emulators.

Comment by Jason McCormack on July 12, 2012 at 8:55am Thanks for the kind words! I just uploaded a few pics of the building process if anyone is interested in seeing them.
Here's a video of the spring-loaded keyboard tray, too. :)
