Where great old Macs live again!

At the time before USB these were really an SCSI alternative to external hard disks -
Magneto Optical disks (MO) !
They are double-sided, but really have to be turned around; each of the A and B sides has a capacity of unformatted 650MB (formatted 622). They work similar to a CD-RW-burner at high temperatures of about 300° C and are safe against magnetic fields.
Disks were provided by Fuji, Sony, hp, Verbatim, electronique D2 (these are here) and surely a few more.
This one is connected to a black 5500/275.

The next time having enough light there'd be a chance to take
a photo of the 5,25" disks and their cases or packaging.
And I will show the 230MB drives then.
