Later this day I will compare it to an original 5500 board. There are a few differences.
It looks very clean; try another hard disk or I am running out of ideas.

Thanks for all your help. I appreciate every suggestion. I have a 6500 board and I held it up next to the TAM board and it's very similar. When I get home next, I will take photos of the two to compare.

5500 and 6500 boards are the same, maybe the passive cooling is different.
As I know that for sure, I can leave my machines closed.
They were produced with 225, 250, 275 and for the latest 6500s, 603ev at 300MHz (without G3 tuning !)
An active cooling is not the worst thing to add, I think - but I do not have a TAM.
AppleFreak has them all, only about 350 km away in Belgium...

My info from the "About this Mac" says the processor is a 250 mz 603ev before the upgrade.
