"I'm just saying that the IBM Corporation didn't build the joystick.  There are other vendors (I.e. Kraft, CH, etc.) that OEM'd them for lots of folks - like IBM and Apple."

"Really?  I am virtually positive that we had the ibm jr joystick for the apple iic.    Do you mean it may have been branded differently, or CH or other vendor was a supplier?    I searched for a while, and saw the ibm jr,…"

JustSomeGuy replied to Alex's discussion Apple iic Stuff!
"Well, either way, the joystick was certainly not made by IBM - it was probably made by CH or some other vendor that also made joysticks for Apple.  You can likely find the same look/feel with both plugs on it  (or a version specific to…"

"Ok, you guys are helping a lot...   I vividly remember using the Ibm jr joystick, but the ones I have seen have a totally different plug.  The ones I have seen on ebay for sale only have the ibm connector, so I need to try to find the dual…"

"I have a couple of joysticks that have both IBM PC and Apple II plugs on them.  No adapter; you just plug in whichever plug is relevant for the machine.  Since joystick ports for both machines were analog, it was a pretty simple thing to…"

"Hey Tim,I found a power supply that someone made, and it works pretty nicely, and wasn't too costly...   I know that I had the IBM PC JR joystick as a child, and I know my parents did not rewire it or anything, so there had to be one that…"

"Hi Alex,   Congrats on the buy, I love the //c too :)   Do you plan on buying a power supply for it? The IBM joystick could be rewired, but I think you'll be happier with a real Apple compatible joystick.  Here's the asimov…"
