I originally saved the sign from destruction back in 94 because my childhood nickname was ... Newton..lol, but I also thought it would make a great above bed reading light. Unfortunately, it sat in a storage box until last month. (re-discovered while spring cleaning). I just mounted it to a wall a few days ago so I could take a few pictures.

I acquired the sign back in 94 while working in the home office dept (computer department) of Best Buy (93-4). In 94 our store was remodeled and our Newton display was destroyed. My manager gave me permission to salvage the sign. It was originally mounted above the display and provided sufficient lighting for customers to tinker with the display model Newton... The sign is 18" x 3 1/2'. The face is brushed aluminum, the lettering and bulb are colored plastic. The whole thing is back lit with a small florescent tube. It's not as pretty as the Picasso sigh, but I have yet to see another one of these...
