It's crazy how much cooling Apple needed for the G5, I had a Power Mac G5 1.8 SP, and boy it got hot just doing simple tasks lol.

I have only two of the black ones for four of the 1400's...
Recently Claes agreed they look best.
The lid has some marring but not much as is apparent in the pics. I think it has spent it's life in the box.
The topmost one is a thin sort of label sheet for the stack. It has the same shape and size overall as the others but is too thin to use for a cover pattern. I have scanned it at 150 dpi and will upload to photos so you can check it out.
Ha ! I am counting eight. The topmost is new to me and looks is if it were NOT for the 1400.

Did you find a way to restore the transparent lid? They tend to become blind...
It seems as if the printed inlays for the 1400 were identical all over the world, please compare to those sold in Germany and certainly many more countries.

As an 'unfinished' biologist I am familiar with taking apart a n y t h i n g.
Two things stood in my way: I needed money and I lost the motivation completely due to the perspectives the 'labour market' offered those days - exactly when I got my first Mac.
But the one thing has got nothing to do with the other.
