I thought my Apple II had the most yellowing in the world, not until I saw this!
Is that a switch on the front of that Mac plus??? *Top left first picture
I'm cleaning the garage, and putting up better shelves, etc. So, one thing I wanted to accomplish was to get all of my Mac stuff together, like my Commodore and other "stuff."
Take a look at my van with Macs in it (temporary as I got it together)...
Wow, I haven't even received it in the post yet! Well, sure!
I live in the UK so postage may well be a difficult to the US, let me know what you would be willing to trade for this, baring in mind that I don't really collect Apple memorabilia, this was a bit of a spur of the moment type of thing!
macuser - you can always send a PM through the site.. Assuming he looks up at the top of the screen, he'll get it and it won't expose your email address. Try this one: billg@microsoft.com
Take it easy, you're not as young as you were. (grin) But regarding Stan's work, it was a huge influence on my time in the 80s... To hear what was going on behind it is awesome.
Wholly is fine, unless that freaks you out too much. The first computer I ever got my hands on was a 2001, it wasn't too long after that that I had a ][+ which constantly amazed me. All the stuff related to the 2001 was horribly expensive and seriously engineered yet the A2 was faster and more flexible. But for the school environment it was the right thing. Making it a little harder to get into the box (than an A2) was a good thing with those morons, luckily they were too afraid to do anything.
So has the collection grown or shrunk since 1994? Are you finding that more machines are catching your fancy or less since then?
