Yes, definitely try resetting the PMU. One other thought: I had a synthesizer that did this when it was attached to a weak/aging power supply. Try a different power brick and/or reducing the load ... Continue

Yes, I remember servicing a couple of those at my second "real" job. I sliced my hand on the $%^#$^& cheap unfinished metal on the cramped insides of the case!

Also, you were my inspiration for reading a book into a podcast - "Stan Veit's History of the Personal Computer." I am finally working on it again and almost done with chapter 2. It's a great book and I want to follow through on completing it. I hope to start up my Classic Computing podcast again soon too. Take care, David
