Why is my Mac haunted?

The story of my Haunted Mac is a very long one. But to put it shortly HauntedMac really refers to my parent's PowerMac 6500 (which has been now passed on to me). We bought that Mac shortly after we moved into an old farmhouse in rural Massachusetts. The house was really old and drafty and everyone in my family swore that the house was haunted. At the time the house had actually been abandoned for a few years before we moved in. The previous owners had died in the house and many of their original furniture was still in the house. To make a really long story short, the room where the PowerMac is set up has been known to be the most haunted. Since the previous owner used that room as their bedroom; we have seen strange shadows and sounds in that room. We had a psychic come into the house and when she entered the office she simply said “Oh my God” and left really really quickly. One night I was walking across the room and I could have sworn I heard someone typing on the computer. I looked into the office, but there was nobody there. When I started walking away the typing started up again. I later found out that one of the previous residents of the house was a typist. So that is the story or the HauntedMac.

it is not that his mac is haunted it is that there is no user, it was a macbook risen from the dead by steve himself ... by combing the shell of an ibook and giving it an Intel processor it has come back to bring rebellion by ppc processors b/c snow leopard has come to destroy them all, ohh yes they will fight to the death, ohh yes there will be many L2 caches lost but ohh the victors shall revel in their glory, ohh yes, but steve will add one more thing and bring nvidia to the market (rumor, say that in a high pitched voice in your mind) and then even more pipe stages will be destroyed but in the end ppc's will rise b/c of their insanely great power hidden behind the megahertz myth

aww man i just saw his third picture ohh well

btw i will put this on james' page so he can read this ... it took me a little while to write this little thing up

Maybe the psychic got out of the office quickly because she was a PC fanatic...

A way to test your haunting theory is to leave the 6500 in the haunted room with an empty text document on the screen, for a period of time. Then see what is written.
