In the meantime, you've really built up a remarkable collection. But there are other things in life.
That cs, which processor has it ? The 1400's came with different speeds, ranging from 117 to 166MHz, and a 300MHz G3 card was available, for an aw...
BTW, what you're not seeing in the pictures is a second iMac G3 (blueberry, dead) and a third PowerBook 165c (in pieces - it had parts for my 2nd 165c).
Today me and my dad went up to the dump like normal. In there, there's a section reserved mainly for old junk, but today, I found this old Macintosh SE30 dubbed "The Dragonball Z Computer" by its former owner in that section. And it still works.
Well, I just got my PowerBook 5300cs in the mail today. It had to survive >2000 mi. from Washington State and it did. It came with the floppy drive module and a bundle of software and System 7.5.2. It, even though minutes old in my house, is very great.
Nice to see all you mac's working and inside a nice clean, dry house ... unlike mine that have been exiled to the garage by a certain woman suffering from OCD....
Hey there, welcome to the group-good to see you here. Nice of collection, I am jealous--lol. Hey what pic was James talking bout on the pod cast?? Is it the one of you sitting next to an apple--didn't look strange to me--lol
That is quite a nice collection of PowerBooks. I really love the trackball on the 100 series. I think it's so much easier to use than the trackpad. I wish I could mod a 185c with a G4 processor, that would be awesome! I just got my Pismo on Sunday, and I was gone all day today so I didn't get to 'play' with it today. I hope you get your 5300 in soon.
