"it's always welcome.. could you provide a download link for it? Should any publisher have a problem, we can always tell them that I'm from Greece and the dept is so high we cannot afford it :P hahaha"
"Wha?? this G4 upgrade card was very popular! It was the Sonnett Encore ZIF upgrade, a 1.0 GHz G4 with 256K L2 cache and 1MB/250 MHz L3 cache. Here's a link to the (discontinued) product page: http://www.sonnettech.com/product/encore.html"
"This is great. I'll have to test it out on my iMac G5 in Classic environment.
Off topic, have you looked at possibly porting something like Gnash over to OS 9? Might be a solution for the lack of Flash on OS 9."
My first Mac was a OS 8.1 PowerMac 8500 120Mhz model I purchased used in 2000. A few years later I bought a B&W G3 350Mhz Tower with OS9 and OSX 10.2 dual boot setup. Next came my trusty iBook G3 600 (pictured) then and an iBook G4 800 a little while after that.
I now own four Macs:
a 17" Macbook Pro Core Duo
a Mac Mini G4 1.25
a White MacBook Core2Duo (actually my wife's)
and my trusty 12" iBook 600 that I use pretty much as a Netbook.
All run Leopard except the iBook has Tiger and OS9.
Glad to be here, found this site searching for Classic Mac podcasts on iTunes. Looks like a great little community.
