I'm having the same issue cleaning several cases. The serial labels are coming loose (none have fallen off completly yet). I'm not sure how I could prevent this.

I have one of these Xceed Color30HR cards, came in a SE/30 I picked up cheap. Does anyone know if this can be used only in and SE/30 ?? Also, since it seems to be quite rare, any ideas on a reasonable value ? Thanks.

The older machines that I had eventually gave out due to age, cracking solder joints and aged capacitors.

Wow! That's quite a few of the retro machines. I found that I ran out of room for my collection very quickly.

fixed the SE, the board that connects the CRT came loose in shipping, plugged that back in and it boots up now, at least to a flashing ?

And if it were a 6500... That Mac is a little bit taller than the G4, measured without the handles and feet. Where's the back handle of the G3 ? I had to remove the rear handle from my G4, too, to put it under the desk. Now its fixed to a G3 to re...

no, it's several vert lines or varying thickness. I havent opened it up yet just got the torx 15 I needed from ebay today, looks like I have an afternoon of mac toaster disassembly :)

been gone a few days, boxes piling up

I was out of town for a few days, when I returned last night I found a lovely pile of USPS and FedEX boxes waiting for me.

Todays additions include :

1 Mac Plus, with 400K external drive and extended keyboard
-- seller claimed it was dead, ovbiousbly didnt know macs, it boots to a ?? floppy just fine

1 SE with 2 800K drives
-- no display but it does startup chime

1 A9M0106 800K external floppy

1 LC 520 aka performa 520
