A 6500/250 (slightly enhancened to 275MHz), having a 9.1 installed as described here: http://retromaccast.ning.com/photo/photo/show?id=1672786%3APhoto%3A48669. A setting to 1024x768 will cause problems.

Oh, my mistake - the drivers are in the extensions folder, but once installed the Monitors cdev offers these settings - a few restarts later.

Lars, I opened the HD.img file you mentioned, I couldn't find anything in the "Monitors" but I will check again tomorrow. I have been getting my son's Pismo ready to give back to him. I think it's ready to release into the wild now. I'll look for ...

It's good to know you you're still here, and good luck for you as well - a new job always is a new challenge and requires full attention. A full 9.1 installation using the G4 disk as I described above is possible, but full of unpredictables - the...

I'm still here, I just don't have as much time these days to tinker around with my Mac's nor go online as much (have started a new job which is pretty intense). My 5500 is currently in storage and no accessible at the moment so I can't test out va...

Ok, I found the PowerMac G4 install disks. I'll try your directions and see what I can find.

A few notes on the PAL TV.
There really aren't too many vintage Macs on Australia's eBay dept.
Any 5200 here goes for a ridiculously low price, often at starting bid (1€).
I may slaughter one for you - but the TV/FM combo is extremely rare here, too.
Usually these cards are found in 5500 systems only, I don't know exactly (the TAM IS a 5500 system).
I have my eyes on eBay UK, Netherlands and Germany, sometimes (but only as a matter of interest) in the States. They ARE rare.

Good morning ! I just tried to find out how the shipping costs to Australia are - in the other direction they seem quite moderate. I can't believe that our services here will offer similar conditions, even for such a small item.
If I were you, I'd bid on this:

Thats great that you got FM radio going. FM works on mine as the US use the same frequencies as we do. What I need is the PAL TV tuner.

Yes, I got the PB Duo 250 (Yay!). And get this. I recently found in my clean up a Lacie external ADB FM tuner. So I have a solution for me, you need to find one of these now!
(I Didn't know such a thing existed til I found this, I still need to locate the driver disks in the boxes of stuff I have)

Hi Leon,
That's a very nice collection and very nicely displayed! I like how you did your photos in black and white with the colored Apple logos.
You have a few iMac G3s I don't have: Sage is the one I really wanted but just don't have the room for now. I've had two Snows but gave them away since it looks too much like Flower Power and Dalmatian from the front side anyway. Right now I have an extra tray loading Lime sitting on the floor (for about 3 or 4 months now) that a friend got from the school where she teaches. I already had one when she gave it to me but I couldn't let it go to the trash! It does have a really cool virtual frog dissection program that we had great fun playing (I hated the real dissections in school so this is way better!! No real frogs died and no smell!!).
You'll have to post some more photos of the rest of the iMacs. I love to see how other people display their Macs.
