This group is for all British RetroMacCast listeners. Retro Macs have a great following in the UK and there is quite a number of listeners from the British Isles, so please use this group to come together and discuss any British Mac goodness!
Oh wow! I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago from a charity shop, (boxed and with one game cartridge), for a mere £3.99! Brilliant little console - I'm currently on the look out for more games for it.
I have heard of this being done before but never actually seen a picture. Imagine what could be done with even more floppy drives and hubs daisy chained together...

Today I picked up a Sony MSAC-P2 Memory Stick/PC Card Adaptor (found on a flee market for one Euro), it accepts the cards used in my Sony DSC-F505V digital camera, the bigger ones I have for this are 64MB.
Sooner or later I'll find a card as the o...
In 2002, when I was still at high school, I rescued a Mac Plus from certain doom. It started my interest in older Macs and since then I have ammassed quite a collection .
Check out my Mac-related web pages that are being served up by a Macintosh LC 475 in the bottom drawer of my desk! These pages include profiles of many of the Macs in my collection.
I'm taking part in this month's RetroChallenge and although my project is not Mac-related, it is still interesting for anyone who's into retro computers. Hint: I'm using a 128K Sinclair Spectrum!
Please visit my blog (hosted by my Macintosh LC 475 server), [here].
Recently I sent something to Damian Ward, and was surprised about the mailing costs of around € 2,50 only. Pass me your address, and I'll find a way (if I can find the card :-)
Well, it is here. A stable envelope is what I do not have on a Sunday evening.
Thanks for pointing out the 190CS is IDE, I missed that. I think I might have an old IDE drive to sort that one out. This will mean I'll have two working 190cs's :-)
The 500 is a good buy since they came with the PPC upgrade already installed and were only out for a few months so must be a bit of a rarity. The nice chap is bundling the 3 items (including a bag) I won in one post so the overall cost will make the wins a good overall bargain.
I was bound to join sooner or later. Maybe this will inspire me to resurrect an old Mac SE I acquired a few years ago -- and possibly do something with it for July's RetroChallenge...

The schools on the isle of man have been hoarding computers for along time, but about a month before i became interested in old computers the board of education decided to make schools clear out there computers. I missed out on a BOXED Commodore pet and Boxed C64's and also Almost every model of mac since The macintosh plus. I was horrified to find that out. But i have got odds and ends off my school though ... : (
