I fell into the Mac community with Strawberry, and since then have picked up a color Mac, Newton, Graphite, iMac G4, iBook, iMac core duo. Love it and am so glad I left the Windows environment.

Nice collection, do you actively use your Newton?

I play with it, but with the iPhone out, I use it instead. That poof we see in OSX was originally on the Newton. I love the pen and have been able to locate two more as back up.

I love my Newton too, and I take it to work with me, and it's one of the things people awe about the most, that and the eMate. It just show people how far ahead of the game Apple was. Are you going to dust your Newton off during the month of the Retro Challenge? I think I might, not as a 'challenge' but just to keep in the spirit of the thing. I might work on getting it synced, and try to use it for a month, but there is no way I'm giving up my iPhone for a month! I'm with ya there!
Did they come with a titanium pen? I have one pen that is collapsible, and one that is not. Is the 'not' one titanium?

Hi Sal, I do have a Titanium pen, but I didn't know that is what it's made of. I do like that pen also, it's so much nicer than the collapsible or the plastic pens. Have you seen the Newton Easter Egg page? I was up late last night playing with the two Newtons and trying to find all the Eggs. Lots of fun!

Is this the same Sal that used to collect Hot Wheels?

Hey Sal!

Cool, I finally found you. I know we lost touch some time back. Please give me a call sometime 310-849-1484.

But to answer your question, unfortunately, no. At the moment I'm on a PC at work (I work for Hot Wheels nowadays) When I started there they set me up on a PC, and I have a request ot switch to a Mac, but it hasn't happened yet.

I hope to hear from you soon!
