Hi,
Check your regular Email for a message about Mouse Card and Video Overlay cards. I am slow. Too many things breaking down around me.
Have not had the time to fix my son's Al PowerBook. But it is on the list, off things to do.

Take Care,

Also dusting off my graphite G3/366 clamshell. I haven't booted it in a long time either. I do have some potential uses for it.

Weird. I'm feeling Mactivated.

I pulled out my Pismo G3/500 a few days ago and dusted it off. This is one of my favorite Macs and I feel a little nostalgic about it. It was the first and only modern "pro" Mac I've ever bought (right after the TiBook was announced).

The PRAM battery was dead but it was easy enough to make a new one. The most surprising thing was the main battery took a charge and runs the machine for a 2+ hours.

I've considered selling it but it's like an old friend. I'm trying to think of a good use for it so it doesn't just collect dust again.

Over the years, there have probably been hundreds of Apple II computers come through my garage. I've picked them up from schools, individuals and organizations back when no one wanted them (except people like me). I've given away most of the stock to other Apple II collectors, KansasFest attendees... and sadly, I was forced to trash some of them because there was no room. I'm getting rid of most of my Macs... a few I'll keep, like the SE30, Mystic, my Takky and a few others. I'm debating on whether to keep a NIB LC580 or not. Of course, I have a handful of newer Macs. I love my MacBook (and the Pismo I used before it). I just need to clear a lot of it out in order to preserve domestic harmony.

40 II's is a bit of overkill though. But given all the hardware options available I can see many configurations.

Ryan, I just can't believe that you've never embraced the beautiful simplicity of a real ][... What's wrong with the youth of today?
