Hi Lars. Mainly from a local recycler that had an interest in old macs. I had a heap more until recently and have given quite a few away (and eBay) to make a bit of room.
You will have to excuse sightings of PS/2s and Commodores but I still like to play with them! (I paid a fortune for a Model 30 at Uni and now they are sooo cheap).
If anyone is curious, up top are two boxed Colour Classics, an LCIII, and an Imagewriter I. Down the end is a complete boxed 2E system. On the left side is a boxed 128k. The books you can see are just manuals I have put on top of the systems they ...
very awesome, I think people need to see an XT next to the /// or Apple IIe to get a design and power perspective, or even a Macintosh 128k, what is this "mouse" and "GUI" you speak of?
I still have a soft spot for IBM PCs. The XT is keeping the Apple III company beside it... Don't look too hard or you will see some Commodore stuff! As well as some PS/2s....
Thanks Adrian. Not quite neat enough yet- imagine what it was like with those other 60 odd compacts in there! Boxed? Complete 2e, Mac128, 2 x Colour Classic, LCIII, Imagewriter. Sold a boxed Classic II to someone in Newcastle (sorry I sold it). Nowhere near as comprehensive as your lot though. Tim
Nice collection, i guess you were aussie from the bunnings shelving, I'm based in Sydney, have more then you , but I like the fact you've got it so neatly stored.. Kudos to YoU! I also see some stuff in boxes up the end there.. Classic II and a LC 475 Perhaps?
Wow! Another super-collector from Australia. What is it with Australia and the need to collect huge amounts of Mac? I must have some relatives in my family tree from down under. Welcome!
