A longer Google trip lead me to this address: http://store.luluusa.com/cp3040a.html with a (decent ?) offer; 39,95 instead of a regular price of 100 $.

I opened an external Conner, what did I find there ? A Seagate ! The Conner CFP4207SU and the Seagate ST14209N are equivalent. Working fine on 'classic' Mac systems; still available; http://www.4drives.com/4drives/CFP4207S.htm for only 189 $. http...

It's been a HUGELY long time since I've seen a Conner drive.

Today chips of these sizes may store dozens of gigs; permanently in eee-computers... Those were they days. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5pkkAhETYg&feature=PlayList&p=0F884FD39D5D6FB1&index=0&playnext=1

Hi RMC folk, I'm downsizing living quarters, and I have a huge collection of stuff that must go. If you are in Melbourne, Australia, you may want to contact me because there are heaps of goodies I have collected over the years. For example: LC475s...

I don't know a lot about the game MacMan other than the fact that the version I have is called "MacMan Classic 2.0" and it was written by John Butler and released as shareware. You can download it from the classic software section of Jagshouse. The game will run on a Mac Plus up, though the sound effects don't work on the Plus.

I do have a Wikipedia account but I don't do a lot of editing to be honest. Please be my guest and make a mention of MacMan amongst the PacMan clones, as it is definitely one of the better versions for early Macs.

Black & White Mac stuff for kids

Kids Domain Black & White Mac Freeware & Shareware appears to have a good collection of stuff, and they have it sorted by age. Very nice!
I haven't tried downloading from those links.

Retro OS 9 Nostalgia

OS 9 Memories over at MacLife.

You must read all the comments to get the full effect.

I am surprised at the lack of knowledge about various utilities that provided the missing functions.

Rob of Macosxhints did a great article when OS X first came out. I guess a lot of people like to complain but don't go searching the web to find software to fill their needs.

If they did they would be happier people.
