I don't know a lot about the game MacMan other than the fact that the version I have is called "MacMan Classic 2.0" and it was written by John Butler and released as shareware. You can download it from the classic software section of Jagshouse. The game will run on a Mac Plus up, though the sound effects don't work on the Plus.
I do have a Wikipedia account but I don't do a lot of editing to be honest. Please be my guest and make a mention of MacMan amongst the PacMan clones, as it is definitely one of the better versions for early Macs.

Rob of Macosxhints did a great article when OS X first came out. I guess a lot of people like to complain but don't go searching the web to find software to fill their needs.
