Steve Jobs

No words will describe the feeling of the world without Steve Jobs. I shed a few tears after seeing the emotional outpouring in the last few days, and it is so uplifting to see so many people showing their feelings for Apple and Steve all over the planet, I don't feel alone, understanding now that many are like me, because for a very long while there times were tough for Apple. Thinking of it recently, I'm starting to believe that if it wasn't for steve's ousting in 1985/86 that he may have not…See More

"Like my original Macintosh, this was a stumbled upon eBay miracle. I ended up paying around $300 USD which I think is a steal considering the vintage and the accessories are all there. Glad to add them to the collection with many of their brothers…"

Lisa Long Weekend

So almost 2 years after i got my first Lisa, I've finally done something about getting them running.

You have to remember, 26 - 27 year old components are a bit temperamental, and I've had to do my fair share of electrolytic replacements in the Lisa and Profile power supplies, as well as the voltage regulator repairs I'll speak f another time.

So what's new I have learned this weekend,

a) At memory address line 240, the first 20 characters represents the serial… Continue

My Lisa Memoirs

The Apple Lisa II

By Adrian Franulovich 28/2/07

Yes yes. Don't worry I sometimes wonder myself if I really have that many. It was funny thou, recently a friend of mine was up from Melbourne in my Office in our shop and I was surprised to find out I had 24 macs in there alone! Never mind the rest of the shop and storerooms!

I didn't realize the Duo 250 was tough to find. I do happen to have one so I guess I'm lucky to have picked one up along the way. Your list has inspired me to dust off my list and get an accurate accounting of my stuff.
