My first computer was a used Sharp MZ 80B. I found it in an '83 magazine, with the double floppy 5,25", a 9-lines matrix printer (by 'Binder'), WordStar and a CP/M 2.2.2 - the price was about 10,500 Deutsche Mark then.

Writing about the Newton MessagePad is hard work. All the updates, the new applications, the constant upgrades Apple sends our way.

- My Newton keeps watch over the Macs in my collection. I have all the web server software loaded for when I move off a UW network. That'll be another two or three years... but it will be ready.
