Looking for a Driver for JoeCard-T (Performa 4400 G3-Upgrade)

A long time ago i bought a Apple Performa 4400 Mainboard on eBay. It came only with some RAM, the Powersupply and that CPU-Upgrade-Module but without any Software. Recently I go the mainboard running but the Upgrade CPU is not recognised by MacOS 9. I googled the Internet for any source of that driver but found nothing, all download links are dead. Can anybody can give me a hint where i can get this driver ?! It would be nice if i could drive the old "left-hander" with full speed ;)

10.5.7 Airport problems

Hi all, just letting you know, I've updated from 10.5.6 to 10.5.7 on a Macbook Pro. I had a few updates to download other than just the os X update, so it took awhile. The problem occurred when I restarted the machine, when it had showed the desktop all was fine, then the airport icon was turned off. A bit strange, but when I clicked on it to try and reconnect to my network, it would not allow me to turn on airport?????? What the???? I opened system preferences, still the same. I rebooted, no… Continue

What is PRAM, who uses PRAM, for what? Who Cares: Stored settings? Clock time if the laptop battery drains. Hmmm. I don't really need to worry about that if my G5 PPC clock battery dies. It stays plugged in, right? It's not like I'm going to lug that huge cheese grater to work, or on vacation with me. Well, I would if I were going on a really long vacation, but that's not the point.

PRAM is not just for clock setting. Or even time zone, or even internet settings. Seems all kinds of… Continue

"New" old mac

I have just acquired a g3 blue and white 350 mhz mac tower with a 17" Apple crt monitor. The first thing I did to it was replace the 6 gb hard drive and put in a 20 gb hard drive and install 10.4.11 on to it. The other up grades I did was to install 4 128 mb memory chips, a wireless card, and 4 usb 2 ports card. This is my first tower so it is a different experience of not have to tear apart the computer to get to any of the insides. It runs well on the os 10.4 and I plan on putting in a second… Continue
