Where great old Macs live again!

I invested in a Canon XSi in early January. The investment has proven productive, as I have already snapped as many photos in two months as I did all of 2009. I have been using iPhoto more intensely too. It may be time to make the switch to Aperture soon.

Here are some of the results.

I volunteer two hours a week at a local no-kill cat shelter called Touched by a Paw. These three lively kittens are already adopted.

Hungry? If you live in Jefferson, Wisconsin I recommend stopping by the riverside dairy store. Can you believe that $2 bacon can look this good? How does it taste? It's worth the cardiac risk.

The White Elephant Gift Shop in downtown Whitewater, WI offers all sorts of Americana at a negotiable price.

"It's a trap!"

No, actually Admiral Ackbar, you are a vintage Star Wars figure.

Shot taken in an abandoned toy factory in Algonquin, Illinois. Somehow I remember Pink Floyd's The Wall being much better than this.

UW-Whitewater is building a new residence hall. I'll be moving into one of the staff apartments this summer.
