Where great old Macs live again!

On January 7th, 2009, Kobi and Ron Shely premiered MacHeads the Movie in room 134 at MacWorld 2009, in the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA, USA. We were thrilled to see over 1000 people turn out.

We want thank you all for coming, it was sure good to see so many familiar faces in the crowd. A Special thanks to the IDG people for the warm hospitality and for setting up this event, we want to thank Paul,Brian, Elitha Charlote and everyone. Also we want thanks our Mom and Dad and our families for all their support in making this happen.

As we finished editing MacHEADS a lot of journalists and fans were interested to find out if we were able to crack the secret code of Apples’ success. Naturally a lot of them expected us to talk about Apple’s sleek design and engineering. Some were curious to hear if we were able to talk with Steve and get from him the secret formula.
Well we are sorry to disappoint them with the following answer; it is not the sleek design nor is it the intuitive UI. It is not the User experience it is all about the Human Experience. The special bond between the Community and the apple brand.
Through the filmmaking process we revealed what a lot will refer to as the Apple Soul. This soul can only exist within people not machines. This soul is the devotion the passion and the inspiration which comes to life when people from all around the world meet and share their apple experience. This apple soul is yours. Take it away and Apple is just another brand.
We truly hope that despite all the recent developments Apple will realize this and will once again embrace its unique community of MacHEADS,

Thank You
Enjoy the movie.

ARS Technica has more on the premiere. We will post the review later on.

“MacHEADS is an entertaining look at the community of Mac users. The documentary, which is just over an hour long, should be available via iTunes by the end of the month.”
