Where great old Macs live again!

So I had my first podcast experience last week, thanks to David, James and John!  Listening back it was ok but I waffled on a bit in the second half of it - for that I apologise!  Lack of audio experience i'm afraid.

The Lisa 2 version of the PiXL is done in terms of design, we're waiting on the first batch to come through and we've already had a small number of orders for it which is fantastic.  Although, I stress again, this isn't a commercial project as the main objective is to spread awareness of the Apple Lisa and its story.  That said the only way to share is to sell it; such is life.

Anyway, so I don't start waffling here as well as on audio i'll sign off with two "Thanks" ... The first for welcoming me into the Macintosh community and the second for supporting the PiXL project.

Thanks!  :D

I can't wait to see photos! Do you have a rough idea of price yet?

Thanks Rick!  Pictures are coming very soon.  In terms of pricing I can give you the exact prices right now!

$225 (£150) buys the PiXL casing (with a choice of Mac XL or Lisa 1 front panel) and built-in LCD screen.  Delivery also comes in with that price for most locations (US, UK, Ireland and Europe).  Email me if you're interested.  adam.sommerfield@gmail.com

Thanks! I might have to wait until after the holidays...or maybe I'll start hinting to me girlfriend for Christmas.

No worries.  They can be made to request at any point now.  :)

Once you've got things finished with the PiXL, can you make up a small classic Mac case also for use with the Pi and Mini vMac?  Perhaps you can even team up with John and help him get his own "Mini Mac" project shipping in quantity!  :)
