Well it was new :) We about spend that for a good off the shelf Mac at the Apple store now, with tax and the needed extras

Ahhhh! Unboxing memories.  I've still got most of the boxes my //c came in, and the machine sits on my desk along with my QS2002, Cube, and iMac (BB-233).  Must power it up over the Christmas break, its been over 12 months since I last played on it.

How would you like to come on a future episode and talk about your purchase?  I would love to hear what is special about the //c to you and what you plan to do with it.

A very nice looking Apple ll! I wish that my Apple lle was in as good of condition! Lots of yellowing, dust, cobwebs, and who knows what else to clean up on mine. Take care of this beauty, she's a real gem!!

Thanks Franklin- they were originally bought by a company in St. Louis, which instead decided to go a different direction and stuck these in storage- still in their unopened sealed condition. I'm not opening them either :)

Cool!  I'm about 4 hours from St. Louis, in Springfield, Missouri.

What an awesome find! The more I play on this site, the more I want to buy retro Macs! My bank account hate you all, but I'm having a lot of fun with this. Thanks for sharing!
