Hi Derek, I am also a big fan of your podcast and I know how you feel in falling behind on it. I started up two podcasts and then let them slide. You did a lot of episodes though.

Also, you were my inspiration for reading a book into a podcast - "Stan Veit's History of the Personal Computer." I am finally working on it again and almost done with chapter 2. It's a great book and I want to follow through on completing it. I hope to start up my Classic Computing podcast again soon too. Take care, David

Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately the IIsi's power supply went on the fritz about a week after I made the post. I guess I will have to troubleshoot it and come up with a fix.

Thanks for producing the folklore radio, it is fantastic to listen to!

OMG!! Thank you for that information. This is why Mac Lovers should be part of this site. I really appreciate you looking into the WPA problem and steering me to those articles. It sure helps to know that I'm not doing something wrong, it's just the equipment.

It would be nice if they would just go back to the friendly open network they had, but they upgraded to a shared T1 line (no wheezing the juice, no streaming Netflix) and upgraded the protocol and password protected it. At least they share with us, so I can't be complaining. But, I really miss the openness. Can't we all just get along?

Hi Derek, I'm still trying to figure out the comments system on this site.

The 520c runs great, I won it in an eBay auction a couple of days ago.

Like new condition, except for the hot pen engraving on the front of the lid - I don't think anyone really used it.

Hi Derek, yes, I was a co-founder of Silicon Beach Software and was the VP of R&D. I just found the site and podcast and I'm starting to check it out. Brings back memories...

Charlie has re-used the Silicon Beach name for his latest company (http://s-beach.com/). My guess is that Dark Castle is the most remembered SBS product.
