The late 90's were...a dark period. After the 7100 (which served as my primary computer) died, budgets concerns lead my parents to purchase a Compaq running Windows 95. That was 1997. I eventually upgraded it to Win98SE to keep up with the times. However, I was finally able to convince them to get me an iBook G4 (the one my girl has now) when it was time to ship off to college. It's been Mac again ever since.
Lars I just noticed one of your pictures where you posted a TV/FM tuner card. I was wondering if this was a PAL version of the card. If it is do you have any spare ones lying about that you would consider selling?. I have been trying to track one down for over 12 months, but they are hard to come by in Australia.
Shipping from The Netherlands to Germany would, for consumers, usually be done through TNT Post. Their rates are:
Europa Priority Standard
0-500 g. € 6,16 € 5,92
500-2000 g. € 11,55 € 9,62
and for heavier packages
0 - 2 kg € 13,10
2 - 5 kg € 19,50
5 - 10 kg € 25,20
10 - 20 kg € 34,10
20 - 30 kg € 40,58
This is in response to your inquiry about the keyboard II. I have no idea where it was made. It has been sold on ebay and waiting to be shipped out. You should have seen it before I cleaned it up. This was originally destined for the dump, but I pulled it out a box at my friends business and told him I would put it on ebay for him. It went for $.99 plus shipping charges.
Photoshop 1.0!!! Fantastic! I just downloaded it, and uploaded it to my "Dropbox" so I can move it over to my Classic Macs. I am really looking forward to giving this a try. Great find! Thanks so much for sharing this.

I have has the monitor stored away in my garage unused for a while. It was only the other week when i took it inside to turn it on did I get a sound that was rather similar to frying bacon! No big pop's, just a steady 'hissssssssssssssss'.
The screen stayed black. But this week I tried again and now it seems to work but with a wobbly image...
I really have now idea which operation system i'm running on my mac. I can only see the version of the finder. But in the most times I just see the sad mac.

Yeah, it seemed like a quite older mouse and keyboard :).
Yep, I could get a 475... but they're hard to find around here, and shipping from UK is pricey... I got all my LC III's for free :).
Nope, not 475's. Only LCIII's... I have three of those, all have Ethernet cards, two have 20 Megs of RAM and the other (which is kept for spares) only has 8 MB.
One of those is currently my webserver - http://babylonlc.no-ip.org:8080
I keep an eye on eBay UK... and there's also a similar auctioning website here in Portugal, I got a complete Performa 5200 (with TV card, 64 MB RAM, and a 60 GB hard drive) for about 60 euros :).
Where great old Macs live again!
