I like the hat! I now wish I would have gotten one before heading to Macworld Expo tomorrow morning. That's right, I'm leaving tomorrow morning!

Hey there, what's that you are holding?

ah, I noticed that it was RetroMacCast but I wasn't sure exactly what it was--cool. yeah that hat is sweet-you pull off the Retro look very well. Alas, the jacket is photo shopped. James posted a pic of his jean jacket and people thought it was photo shopped, which it wasn't but that got me thinking if I could pull it off-it came ok but if you look at the oringal you can tell is not real.

I just saw your photo - before and after photoshop. Both are great! But the Apple version of the jacket is SO appropriate for MacWorld Expo week!
Do you go to Sturgis or other traditional Harley meets?

after posting the pix-it occurred to me that I actually put the jacket together. it was just a black jacket I had laying around. I had the green and white stripes added, the lettering, and all the patches. So I could in theory make one similar APPLE jacket. I would of course need a Jacket since I don't have any more just laying around-LOL.
I have been to the Hollister Rally for the last 10 years or so. I have never been to Sturgis, Last year's trip was canceled. I am supposed to be going this year. However, I'll be making the trip on my Buell-so not sure how comfortable I'll be or if I'll make it-lol. 2 years ago I put in a lil over a 1000 in 3 days--after getting off the bike once I got home, I didn't get back on it for a month--lol. It was painful. So I don't know how I'll hold up--but so far its a go-lol. You want me to swing by and pick ya up?? LOL

Ah... a road trip... I've been to a couple of meets but only as an observer. I'd be in my VW Vanagon on vacation and camping around the countryside and I'd see a meet and go check it out. Everyone was always friendly even though I was truly an outsider and didn't arrive on a bike! (Yep I was a bit more comfortable tho!) No road trips for me this year - I have to stay home and do home maintenance projects!

yeah I am having a bit of trouble following the comments and where exactly to reply, so no worries I am sure we'll get the hang of it. yeah hitting the rallys are cool. And to be honest once you are there, no one can tell how you got there-lol. I am looking forward to it, maybe I'll be able to barrow an iPod for the trip-lol. We were planning on going out through Salt lake so if you had said "yeah come get me" it would have been a long side trip--lol. So what maintenace projects you have going on?

well sounds like its a good thing you enjoy painting. In that case you can paint year round. The exteriror during the spring and summer months and the interior durning the fall and winter. what's your favorite color and is any parts of your house painted that color? what are some of the other pod cast do ya listen to?

Wow! You have quite a nice collection. I know how you felt about your little SE sitting in the basement. I get so attached to my Macs. Glad she/he/it is back in the spotlight. I too, hope we can plan to get a Retro Group together to meet-up at MW 09. And, at least have a get-together dinner. I know James and John are pretty booked up, being Podcasters and all, but we should try to grab them for a few hours one evening. I'm hoping the I can spend more time there next year, and plan out a few conferences to attend. But, I can't complain about this year, it was fun and amazing.

We'll be pretty booked up? We're not exactly rock stars. I'm hoping for RMC breakfasts, lunches, and dinners next year!

This just in -

Pam's head explodes when she subscribes to 25 hours per day of podcasts and realizes that she can't possibly keep up.

I finally dumped a bunch of my long running podcasts (1 hour+) because I although I might want to know the information, I need to "get to it" and get some things done.

I had that same problem - but even worse was when I had planned to get in 40 minutes of work on the train there wasn't enough room to even pull out the laptop, let alone get any work done.
