Excellent! A Swedish Mac fan! I'm a quarter Swedish, but I've never been there. Someday!

There probably are but I'd have to check with my grandmother -- her family is from Sweden.

Too many pictures of too many cool toys to comment on each.

Hey James! He's got one of those 17 pound "portable" (cough cough) machine too!!!

By all means! Share in the retro-ey goodness. Feel free to use the picture of the floppies.

Your profile says you have a Plus, but you're not certain. If it is a Plus it usually has that stamped on the front. Even without Plus written on it, it is possible it is an older Mac that was upgraded to a Plus I guess.

Yeah, I found some decent deals on Ebay, and from a gut locally who sold his entire collection to me for $35 (that included 6 working computers and lots of peripherals). I haven't gotten a "new" Mac since last spring, and I've had some of them die on me, and sold a few others, but still have most of them.

Thank you for the very kind comment. I hope I did the group justice. I think we all feel about our Macs the same way, and keep them useful as much as possible.
I see you have a Newton, do you use it? If so, what system do you run it on?

I've never tried to use a Newton with a machine older than a Performa. I did see a website someone here has, and he has his Newton connected to his SE. And, his SE connected to his home network. If I can remember who it is, I'll send you his name and you can connect. If, you haven't already found him that is.

Here is the link about the networked SE, and the Newton. The members name is James Wages and he has a blog on the 'Blogs' page called the "The SE that does it all." Also this is the link to an interview he did about his Network.

I hope this helps, please let me know how it goes.

Hey Claes, I just saw a photo of yours that has Shufflepuck Cafe. What machine are you running this on? I use to play that game and loved it. I must play it again, I must have it again!

Hi Claes,

I would LOVE a copy of Shufflepuck Cafe. I remember where I played that game. It was on the first Mac I ever had, the one that stayed with my Ex. I miss that machine. But, I do have an SE that I'm going to get booted up using Pam's Zip method. I'm so excited to get to play that game again! Thanks so much!

I just read your post about Shufflepuck Cafe and went to:

It looks great! I'm going to download a copy and I think my nephew and I will have a lot of fun with this one! Thanks so much Claes for reminding us about this game.

And Kathy, that bootable Zip drive method was given to me by James and John - so I can't take credit for anything other than writing it up and sharing it with the community!

New MBP. My trusty G5 (the last new computer I bought back in 2003) will become our new media center.

Your collection is excellent! My favorites have to be your Macintosh Portable and R2.

Hey Claes, I saw two of those Addiators on eBay that are just like mine. And, there were a few others that were a little more elaborate. The one's like mine were between 6-10 dollars. Not a bad deal.

You really should try ResEdit too, as Damian must have done. I made the Finder for 7.5 'polite' - "Do you really want to...[empty the Paperbasket]". You should have an external drive to start the concerning machine up with and always remember to keep a copy of the original file. Take a litte application (like 'UltraDice') and make a Swedish version for your own pleasure, search for the 'STR'-resources and GO !

Hi Claes, thanks for the friendship. Let me know if you've got any suggestions or ideas about the Garden. Good night! (it's late here in Australia)
