I posted a reply to your QuickTake question in the latest episode's discussion. I think all you may need is a set of lithium batteries.

I just read the teeny tiny print on my Energizer rechargeable batteries. They are Nickel Metal Hydride aka NiMH. They do NOT work in the 200!! I had mistakenly thought they were considered alkaline.

Thank you very much. There are so many more here with so much more knowledge than me. I wanted people to understand what people can do with these machines.

Awesome, thanks! It was lots of fun to produce, I participated in the RPM Challenge 2008 (Record Production Month) and slapped together a seriously nerd-core album last February. Here's the final jukebox with everybody's submissions, search for Gnudutch to find my ten tracks, then listen to all the other artist's great free stuff!

February is coming soon I'll probably do another one, you should join in too!

Claudio, I have an Apple QuickTake 100 (I was reading your comments) and although I did hunt down the proper battery for it I did test AA's and they worked but I've read they don't last as long. I also noticed you live in Miami so I've gotta say I'm a Dolphins fan - have been since I was 12. I still love Dan Marino.

My 8 Macs comprise:

Powerbook G3 Kanga (my one remaining retro machine, have had Wallstreets, Lombards & Pismos as well)
17" Intel iMac (Core 2 Duo) for my wife
12" PowerBook G4 that my son uses
15" MacBook Pro (1st Gen Core Duo)
17" MacBook Pro (last gen before the Unibody machines)
G4 Mac Mini (sat in the living room feeding the Apple TV)
17" iMac G5 (which I bought for work so I didn't have to use a PC)
MSI Wind Netbook hacked to run OS X

Regards,

David.

This weekend a Quadra 650 went for just over 20 Euros, but I missed it (facing a 128k, which will be far more expensive). And I got me an SE FDHD !

Your birthday today ? Congratulations !
Can you count them ? I've lost the overview - there was a President called 'Kennedy', as I was told later; Germany had its 'Adenauer' and computers were able to count to one.

Having lunch is not the idea over here,
it's an hour to midnight, and there's 'Kill Bill (1)'
with Uma Thurman on free TV...
