James,
You are absolutely right!!! I do have a plan. i have been listening to the podcast since show #4....and your show is what gave me my renewed interest. I don't know what it is about your show....but the 2 of you have a very unique presence......it is really relaxing to me. I download the shows on my IPOD (at least i do have an IPOD...ha) and really enjoy listening to you guys ...especially while driving back and forth to work.
I also have a little podcast about music.

I'll write to you when I have my MAC.

Billy
Keep up the good work and I'll write you

Babel-Fish is one of those shining examples where machines just don't quite get semantics, usage, and everyday idiomatic phrases of language.

...at least until Skynet becomes self-aware.

Hi James: I heard about your Podcast after listening to Adam Christenson's Podcaster Get-Together at MacWorld 2008. Keep up the great work!

Hi James, yes the Mac Mini is a great machine - so compact. You're doing a great job keeping the memory of the "classic" Macs alive!

James,

Thank you! The pleasure was all mine. Keep up the great work. Love the site, podcasts and the community interaction you have going on here. I am registered, bookmarked and will be visiting the site often to weigh in on topics with everyone else. Too much fun!
Kindest Regards,

Thanks. Actually, a photographer friend of mine had just purchased her first DSLR a couple of years ago and roped me into acting as a practice subject. It'll likely be my sole foray in modeling, but it does look a little better than my real self, so what the heck. I enjoy your podcast; keep up the good work. I was happy to learn I wasn't the only person in the world who obsesses over old Macs and the (much missed) rainbow Apple logo.

Did you already see the pictures of the Apple //c unboxing?

This is the fellow that bought the new-in-box //c from eBay.
It's beautiful isn't it?
NO yellowing at all. Yum!!

I'm finally finding my around this site (sorry-my first social network!) and I see that you're going to interview Dan about the //c unboxing? That will be great!! Also perhaps we have a new member in Dan? Hey - sorry I didn't find that thread before I posted to you yesterday - still on a learning curve! But I'm figuring it out....

Uh-oh--it's the only picture I had of myself with a Mac! I also have a LCIII, a 520, a 5500, a Lombard and a Classic II that are retro. Using a G4 iBook for the road, and my spouse just got a 24" iMac. Sweet. Love the show you do. Its quality is unsurpassed. Wish the guys at MacWorld would take notice and do some podcasts of the same caliber. Best hopes,

Hi James, I know you want more photos, but really most of my macs are nothin' special. Except of course my rare Japanese Powerbook 520, Quadra 950-upgraded to Powermac and not to mention my second mac ever the SE (haven't checked if it boots up in a while).

I don't know much about the song other than it's from a collection of parodies.

Hi James,
Are the computers in the photos you sent in belong to you? That's quite a collection. I am really impressed. What are those in the top right shelf? I can see a Mac color classic on the second row. Any IIs in your collection?
