Where great old Macs live again!

Tony Fadell Interview - Computer History Museum

The Forstall/Ganatra/Herz/Fiennes interview received a ton of press coverage ... unlike this gem: an interview with Tony Fadell, designer of the iPod (on a whim, apparently) and founder of Nest.

For the Apple II nuts out there, Tony was also co-founder of Quality Computers! I can't believe it!

"... and then the II+ and IIe and the Mac came, and I couldn't afford these things!"

He was part of the debate regarding the value(?) of tying the iPod to the Mac: "Steve, how much does an iPod cost? [399?] No, 399 plus 2000 bucks!"
