I have a 6400, and it's a great machine! It was one I loaned out and thought I'd never get back, but a few months ago, it came home! I'm so happy, I've been dusting off the printer and scanner that go with it. The scanner isn't working so good, so I took it apart and am cleaning it up to see if I can get it to work. In the process, I broke a tiny, tiny piece that is (I'm sure) important. So, now I have to try to super glue it back together. Sheez! Why do they have to have such tiny pieces?
I really enjoy all the old software for system 7, 8, and 9, and I will always have a pre OS X machine around. Mine is also running OS 8, not sure if it's 8.6, I'll have to check.
What are some of you favorite application for the PowerPC?
My favorite game of all time is Aperion by Ambrosia.
