Rare Macintosh SE 1/20 for sell!!

http://myoldmac.net/picts/ICON-3d-MacSE.GIF These were only sold in Europe, so kinda rare in the US and other parts of the world. The Mac is in original configuration with a noisy MiniScribe Harddrive and 1 MB of RAM. The Mac is tested and in good condition - the backside is yellowed due to its age. Running a German System 6 - I can install an English System if you like.

Macintosh Color Classic for sell! In original Box!

A rare Macintosh Color Classic, in good condition including Keyboard, Mouse and German manual - all in the original shipping box (shows signs of time). I found a Color Classic only once in this condition - and bought it :-) This is a rare chance to get a very special collectors item.

New in myoldmac F.A.Q. Section...

I have added two new articles to the F.A.Q. section: * Article: Apple Computer´s Macintosh Basic Tour * FAQ: SCSI Bus Termination

This Week in Apple History... - 14 - 20 Nov

1982: Steve Jobs writes a letter requesting McIntosh Laboratory (www.mcintoshlabs.com) provide Apple a worldwide release for the name Macintosh for use in the computer industry. Jef Raskin's project had been code-named Macintosh since its inception in 1979, but when Apple attempted to trademark the name in 1982, the request was denied because it phonetically infringed on the trademark already owned by the high-end audio equipment manufacturer of Binghamton, New York. In his letter to Gordon Gow, president of McIntosh Labs, Mr. Jobs writes, "We have become very attached to the name Macintosh. Much like one's own child, our product has developed a very definite personality."

Macintosh M0001 Registry database project

M0001 Registry database project. If you own an original Macintosh through a Mac Plus, it is an original M0001 Macintosh model - you should register it here. There is no information required on this page, you may enter as much or as little as you are comfortable with. Apple has long since forgotten about your M0001, but here it lives on forever!

My Mac Plus is signed by Jimmy Doohan. He played Scotty on Star Trek. Here is the clip from Star Trek IV -

I got it signed at a Sci Fi convention a few years ago. He was a lot of fun to talk to.

Your site www.myoldmac.net is awesome. I'll obviously spend too much time there and not get any sleep. Between your site and virtual-gs I'm never going to get any sleep.

Welcome Oliver! It's good to see someone else who is not exactly sure of how many Macs they own - I keep finding more of them in my attic.
