Celebrating 25 Years of Macintosh

To celebrate 25 years of Macintosh, I just spent the last week catching up with the Mac Folklore Radio podcast. I was familiar with the site (and overwhelmed by the sheer number of stories) and to find the best presented in such a fun way was just perfect.

It was a huge effort by some amazing characters.

Despite My Better Judgement...

Despite my better judgement, I now have a Bondi Blue iMac (Rev B, 233 Mhz, Tray Loader). It's cute, sounds good and teaches me patience.

When I first tried to turn it on, no luck. It had been in my trunk for a few hours and it's not the warmest place out here. I was a bit afraid that I might not be able to get it awake but figured that it would then become a project machine.
